Send Cindy a Pink Rose
|"Before this all started, I used to think that one person couldn't make a difference... but now it's clear, one person who has the backing and support of millions of people can make a huge difference."|
Cindy Sheehan from Camp Casey
Sitting out here in arid Camp Casey 3 in Crawford, Texas, Cindy Sheehan is still shining like a Pink Rose of Texas. Since last summer, Cindy continues to inspire this nation to rise up against the senseless death of our children. Just last week she announced her intent to use her land in Crawford as sanctuary for war resisters.
CODEPINK has been by Cindy's side here in Crawford from the beginning of her vigil since last summer. It has been astounding to watch how a grieving mother, who began her journey camping in a tent as close to the president's ranch as she could get, has turned this dry, flat landscape into a field of dreams. Now we invite you, and your friends, to join us in honoring her dream with a pink garden of roses to bring her sacred space "visions of peace".
Let's surround our Pink Rose of Texas with an abundance of gorgeous pink roses.
