Sign Up: Day of Action Against Guantanamo

San Francisco's "Day of Action Against Guantanamo" is in solidarity with a major event in Washington DC.

Sign up below for a spot in our human chain in front of the San Francisco Federal Building and 9th Circuit Court, which face each other on 7th St. between Market and Mission. We need 171 people -- the number of detainees still unlawfully held by the U.S. government at Guantanamo. There will be speakers and music, followed by the attendees assembling into the 'human chain.' Please wear orange or black; we will have some orange jumpsuits but not enough for all.

Why: To mark the 10th anniversary of unlawful counterterrorism detentions at Guantanamo and call for an end to indefinite detention and unfair trials
