On November 21, Israel and the Palestinians in Gaza reached a ceasefire agreement with Egyptian mediation. We know today that Israel is breaking the ceasefire agreements by continuing to harass and physically injure fishermen and farmers in Gaza. President Obama and Hillary Clinton should pressure Israel to respect the ceasefire agreement. How long must the people of Gaza suffer before our government demands that Israel stop bombing, occupying and oppressing? We hear from President Obama and Congress about Israel’s right to self-defense, but what about the rights of the Palestinian population in Gaza? Please send Secretary Clinton (via contacts in the State Department) and President Obama the letter below urging them to take immediate action. |
