Shame on Bank of America Manager!

On March 8th, 2012, International Women's Day, CODEPINK activists twice interrupted CEO Brian Moynihan of Bank of America during his speech to Citi Bank investors. Medea Benjamin and Rae Abileah opened their suit jackets to reveal the message above their pink bras: “BUST B of A.”  This was part of actions across the country by Women Occupy to build attention around the need for Bank of America to be ‘busted’ into smaller banks.

Escorted out of the building, they took their message to the Bank of America at the corner of Zuccotti Park, famous as the home of Occupy Wall Street.   Repeating their action inside the bank with dozens of activists in super hero costumes outside, they were brutally arrested without ever being asked to leave the bank. Two activists outside the bank were also arrested without reason. All four spent a difficult night in jail and three of them, charged with two counts of trespassing, have to return to court on March 30.

Write the customer complaint department of Bank of America and ask them to respect first amendment rights and drop all charges against the activists.
