Americans to Israel: Stop targeting peaceful Palestinian demonstrators and organizers!

Recently, two leading Palestinian organizers were placed behind bars for non-violent demonstrations. The protests have featured women prominently, and have focused on an end to occupation: of land, of minds, of hearts— for Palestinians and Israelis alike. The Israeli army has reponded with raids, arrests, and injuries to men, women, and children.

Naji and Bassem Tamimi from the village of Nabi Saleh are currently jailed for their efforts to oppose the theft of their land by Israeli settlers. They were arrested based on evidence derived from forced confessions of teenagers who were seized in midnight raids, denied legal counsel, and beaten. This is not justice.  We must raise our voices to secure their quick release.
